In Tarot, Death is the most misunderstood card in the deck — and the most liberating. It does not mean physical death. It means the end of an era, the death of who you used to be, the magnificent release of what has served its purpose. This oil honours that transformation. Wear it when something must end, when you are ready to let go, or when you need to mark a threshold so clearly that you can never go back.

SCENT PROFILE
Resinous, sacred, and quietly beautiful. Cypress opens with a clean, cool, otherworldly clarity; bergamot FCF adds fresh brightness that softens the weight; patchouli grounds in dark earth; frankincense and myrrh bring the ancient, ceremonial gravity of true sacred smoke; lavender offers gentle mercy through it all. Solemn without being heavy. Holy.

• Apply before sleep during major life changes to support peaceful surrender to transformation.

RITUAL USE
• Anoint The Death tarot card at your altar when doing ritual work around release, endings, and rebirth.
• Use in a releasing ritual: write what must end on black paper, anoint it, and burn it safely.
• Apply to Obsidian and Labradorite and place on a transformation altar during waning moon.
• Use in a Samhain death ritual: anoint yourself before sitting in meditation to commune with what is ending.
• Pair with a white candle (rebirth) and a black candle (death) — anoint both, burn together.
